Mexx was born just like you, starting with a kiss. In 1986, Rattan Chadha took his Dutch men’s brand Moustache and women’s brand Emanuelle and joined them together taking the first letter of each and adding two kisses. The advertising campaign 'Everything should be XX' from 1986 caught on attention and MEXX became very popular. Since then, MEXX has grown into a massive international brand, expanding its categories to include shoes and home products, both through its wholesale business and retail stores.

Mexx offers affordable and fashionable men's and ladies' apparel, embodying a strong brand image that emphasizes quality and versatility. Thread Collective holds the USA/Canada license for ladies' sportswear and sleepwear and men’s sportswear and swim. Retail partners span across multiple channels across North America, including a proud partnership with Walmart in Canada.
