Founded in 1998 by professional Cali skateboarders Daewon Song and Tim Gavin, Matix has always represented skateboarding and the outdoor lifestyle through its apparel, offering impeccable design and style.

Since then, the brand has kept its roots in action sports but has also evolved into an outdoor lifestyle brand. Product offerings include men's apparel, outerwear, and accessories.

Thread Collective obtained the worldwide license for the brand in 2016 and attained full ownership in 2020.

Matix clothing captures the street skate essence, while paying tribute to the natural outdoor spaces that makes California what it is. Matix is for the person who doesn’t need to wear their logo on their sleeve. The style speaks for itself.
